Zurich, SANA-The Syrian national football team has maintained the 73th place internationally according to the FIFA’s international classification.
This rank is the best achieved by the Syrian team since the start of the monthly ranking in August 1993 when it was ranked 78.
The Syrian team ranked 6th on the Arab level following Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt, Algeria and Saudi Arabia.
The Syrian team has a chance to improve its rank during his upcoming participation in the West Asia Football Federation championship (WAFF) which will be held in November.
