Moscow, SANA- President of the Republic of Abkhazia, Raul Khadjimba, said that the enhancement and enrichment of Abkhaz-Syrian relations constitute a main priority for the country.
Khadjimba’s remarks came during an interview with the Russian newspaper Izvestia.
The Abkhaz president said that priority is given to further strengthen official relations between Syria and Abkhazia following Syria’s recognition of the independence of Abkhazia recently.
A delegation of Abkhaz officials, including Envoy of the Abkhazian President Beslan Bartsits and Abkhazian Foreign Minister Daur Kove, started a visit to Syria a few days ago with the aim of boosting relations between the two countries in various fields.
