First batch of terrorists evacuated from Daraa al-Balad to northern Syria

Daraa, SANA- The first batch of terrorists and their families, who rejected the reconciliation agreement, was evacuated from Daraa al-Balad area towards northern Syria.

The agreement stipulates for ending all armed manifestations in Daraa al-Balad and returning all the state institutions to it.

SANA’s reporter at Sajnah on the outskirts of Daraa al-Balad area said that ten buses carrying 407 terrorists along with their families moved towards northern Syria accompanied by cars affiliated to the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC).

The evacuation process is subjected to thorough inspection where buses and luggage are searched and the names of the terrorists are verified to prevent them from forcing any person who is unwilling to leave his home under pressure and threat.
The reporter added that ammunition and weapons were seized during the inspection process, including an RPG launcher.

Later on, the remaining terrorists will be taken out from Daraa al-Balad area, the reporter added.

On Wednesday, an agreement was reached including the regions of Daraa al-Balad, al-Sad road, al-Mukhayam, Sajnah, al-Manshiyah and Gharz, stipulating that gunmen hand over the heavy and medium-sized weapons to the Syrian army and settling the status of armed men who are willing for settlement.

The armed groups in Daraa al-Balad on Saturday started to hand over their heavy weapons and munitions to the Syrian Arab Army.
