Daraa, SANA-A popular gathering was held in al-Gharia al-Sharqia town in Daraa to express support for local reconciliation and celebrating the victories of the Syrian Arab Army on terrorism throughout the homeland.
SANA’s reporter said that hundreds of the town’s locals gathered at its square, waving the national flag and chanting slogans extolling the Syrian Arab Army.
In turn, field commanders who participated in the gathering said that that Syrian Arab Army will continue fighting terrorism till eradicating it from all the Syrian territory.
They also called locals to return to their villages liberated by the army.
During the past few days, Syrian Arab Army units have restored security and stability to a number of villages and towns of the Daraa countryside, including al-Gharia al-Gharbia, al-Gharia al-Sharqia, Kahel, Rakham, al-Msifra, al-Hrak, Alma and asl-Soura. Several of them have joined local reconciliations, including Abta, Dael and Um Al-Mayzan as the Syrian army is continuing military operations to liberate the rest of Daraa province’s areas.
