22nd St. Petersburg International Economic Forum concluded

St. Petersburg, SANA- The 22nd St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) concluded activities in Russia on Saturday.

The three-day forum was held with the participation of 143 countries including Syria and brought together politicians and international business experts.

550 agreements for around 2.365 trillion rubles ($38.5 billion) have been signed at a recent economic forum which was opened with the theme “Building An Economy Of Trust”.

Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade Dr. Mohammed Samer Al-Khalil represented Syria. A delegation from the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce and a number of People’s Assembly’s members and Syrian businessmen also participated in the event in addition to the Syrian Ambassador in Moscow Dr. Riad Haddad.

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2018 was attended by 17,000 participants from 143 countries.
