Sunday weather: Temperatures to rise, skies partly cloudy

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will rise to become from 2 to 4 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general while the weather will be misty in the eastern and al-Badyia “desert” areas while rain showers are expected to fall over the coastal areas.

The wind will be of changeable direction with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low to medium in height.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 20/11, Daraa 22/9, Homs 18/10, Lattakia 19/15, Aleppo 19/10 and Deir Ezzor 26/14.
