Mikdad stresses importance of boosting Syrian-Cuban relations

Damascus, SANA – Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister Fayssal Mikdad discussed with the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Marcelino Medina of Cuba and the accompanying delegation the joint challenges facing Syria and Cuba in their war against the US imperialism and its attempts to dominate the region and the entire world.

Mikdad expressed gratitude to Cuba for its support to Syria at international circles, calling to further enhance relations between the two countries in all domains.

For his part, Medina stressed the need for continuing communications and consultations between Syria and Cuba, reiterating Cuba’s firm support to Syria in its war against terrorism in a way that preserves its sovereignty, territorial integrity and the safety of its people.
