Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain around average or slightly lower as the country is affected by a low air pressure accompanied by a cold and wet air mass in all layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday bulletin that the skies will be cloudy and rainy in most areas and the rainfalls will be heavy and accompanied by thunder sometimes, warning of frost and fog at the mountains.
The wind will be westerly to southwesterly with active gusts whose speed will reach up to 65 km per hour and the sea waves will be medium to high in amplitude.
Different amounts of rainfalls have been registered in several Syrian provinces over the past 24 hours as follows: Damascus and its countryside 57 mm, Daraa 35 mm, Quneitra 133mm, Hama 85 mm, Tartous 91 mm, Lattakia 33mm and Hasaka 80mm.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 13/7, Daraa 12/9, Homs 15/9, Lattakia 18/13, Aleppo 13/7 and Deir Ezzor 12/7.
