Damascus, SANA- Temperatures continue to gradually rise to become from 5 to 7 degrees above average as the country is affected by a high pressure in all layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Saturday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general, particularly on the coastal areas; local rain showers are expected there. The weather will be cold at night on the mountains.

The wind will be southeastern of low speed, while the sea waves will be low in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 21/08, Daraa 22/09, Homs 20/06, Hama 18/05, Lattakia 19/09, Aleppo 18/06 and Deir Ezzor 23/07.
