Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will remain around average or slightly higher as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure coming from the southeast and accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and local rain showers will fall over the northwestern and coastal areas, while the weather will be misty in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badiya “desert” areas.
The wind will be westerly to northwesterly with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
Tomorrow, the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and local rain showers might fall over the coastal areas.
The expected temperatures in some of the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 29/16, Daraa 30/15, Homs 28/14, Tartous 28/22, Aleppo 28/14 and Deir Ezzor 30/17.
