Syrian expatriate launches Arab and international social networking website

Paris, SANA – Syrian inventor and researcher Bakkour Qattan, who resides in France, has launched an Arab and international social networking website named “Booksylor” that is open for everyone.

The site can be accessed via smart phones and computers and it constitutes a forum for spreading culture and knowledge, with the goal of strengthening the link binding expatriates and their homeland.

The site doesn’t require downloading files or apps to run it on mobile phones or computers, and it doesn’t ask phone numbers or private data, and all the user data is protected and hidden. Plans for the site include adding a chat feature to the service.

“The goal behind establishing this website is to serve my homeland as it facilitates contact between Syrians through their private pages which represent a forum embracing their ideas, opinions, and concerns,” Qattan said.

Qattan called upon all the Syrian people inside Syria and abroad to join Booksylor to make it a forum connecting all Syrians, no matter where they are.

The site can be found at www.booksylor.com and it currently supports Arabic, English, French, Spanish, German, Russian, and Turkish.
