Damascus, SANA- Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Ali Ghanem on Sunday discussed with Iranian Ambassador in Damascus Jawad Turk Abadi prospects of cooperation between the two countries in the domains of oil, gas and mineral resources.
Minister Ghanem stressed the importance of enhancing the bilateral cooperation and the participation of the Iranian companies in the productive and extractive projects in a way that would serve the interests of both sides.
For his part, Ambassador Turk Abadi indicated that the Iranian companies enjoy the required qualifications and the technical expertise to carry out projects in the domains of oil, stressing that his country will continue to provide all forms of support to Syria.
