University students evacuated from Yarmouk Camp to take exams

Damascus, SANA – With the help of the Syrian government, the General Authority for Palestinian Arab Refugees (GAPAR) evacuated Saturday a number of university students from Yarmouk Camp which is besieged by armed terrorist groups so that the students can attend the additional session of exams which starts on Sunday.

Director of the GAPAR Ali Mustafa told SANA that suitable locations and atmosphere have been provided for who want to attend the exams at the Institute of the Martyr Saeed al-Aas which is affiliated with the GAPAR and the Palestine Institute of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).

Earlier, the GAPAR evacuated a large number of elementary and secondary stage students under the supervision of the Syrian government so that they can attend exams, and ensured their safe return to the camp. The authority also distributed food packages to them.
