Minister of Awqaf, Dagestan Prime Minister discuss means to confront Takfiri terrorist ideology

Makhachkala, SANA-Minister of Awqaf (Religious Endowments) Mohammad Abdul-Sattar al-Sayyed and an accompanying delegation discussed with Dagestan Prime Minister Abdussamad Gamidov means to confront Takfiri terrorist ideology.

During the meeting which was attended by the members of Dagestan government, the two sides exchange view points and ideas on the best ways to prevent the recruitment of the young in the ranks of terrorist organizations, as well as ways to develop relations between the two friendly countries.

Al-Sayyed also delivered a lecture in the attendance of a large crowd of preachers, imams and students.
The lecture revolved around the terrorist war experienced by Syria and the difference between “terrorism and jihad.”

Syria, Dagestan discuss cooperation between religious institutions

Earlier, the minister discussed with Mufti of Dagestan Ahmad Afandi enhancing cooperation between the religious institutions in Syria and Dagestan and means of protecting the youths from engaging in terrorism.

In an interview with the Dagestani NNT Channel, Minister al-Sayyed talked about the reality of what is taking place in Syria and the conspiracy hatched against the country, warning the Dagestani people against the Western media misleading.
