Syria earns three bronze medals in Russia’s Karate Championship

Moscow, SANA- Syrian national karate team won three bronze medals in Russia’s International Karate Championship which concluded activities in St. Petersburg city on Monday.

Mohammad Darwish in the under 67 kg weight class, Mona Shahaibar in the under 61 kg weight class and Diana Mohammad in the under 68 kg weight class won the medals.

Head of Karate Federation Jihad Maya told SANA that earning three bronze medals by the Syrian karate players in such international championship is a new achievement by the Syrian sports in general and the karate Federation in particular.
