Damascus Countryside, SANA – A volunteer camp for children of army martyrs has been recently organized in one of many steps taken by various public and civil parties to express support to and look after those children since the outset of the crisis in the country.
The camp was organized by Revolutionary Youth Union, Damascus Countryside branch, in cooperation with the governorate.
The campers visited Tuesday the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and laid a wreath at the tomb, expressing pride in the martyrdom of their fathers, and readiness to “scarify every precious thing we have to achieve victory over the terrorists.”
About 140 children of martyrs are participating in the ten-day camp, which started on August 5th in al-Sabboura area.
In a relevant context, Ministry of Tourism held a banquet for the participants in the camp at the Youth City in Mazzeh area in Damascus.
