Syrian-Chinese contract signed for implementing  an electrical substation in Lattakia

Damascus, SANA – Ministry of Electricity signed on Wednesday a contract with two Chinese companies to implement al- Daatour electrical substation with a capacity of 230/66/20 kV in Lattakia province.

After signing the contract, Electricity Minister Mohammad Zuheir Kharboutli told reporters that the total value of the contract is estimated at Euro 13,138,800, in addition to SYP 391,000,516, noting that the implementation will take 18 months.

For his part, representatives of the Chinese companies expressed hope that they will be able to expand their works in Syria in the future in field of renewable energies as well as in power transmission and distribution.
