Sunday weather forecast: Temperature to rise gradually, rainfalls in various areas

Damascus, SANA- Rain fell in various areas across the country during the past 24 hours, and the heaviest rainfalls were 103.8 mm in al-Qerdaha, Lattakia province and 63,5mm in al-Qadmous in Tratous.

According to the rain bulletin of the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reforms, the amounts the rainfalls in other Syrian provinces were as follows:

Damascus 5mm, Daraa 1mm, Quneitar 2mm, Homs 2mm, Hama 60mm, Tartous 63.5mm, Lattakia 103.8 mm, Aleppo 6mm and in Hasaka 8mm.

Temperatures will gradually rise to become around average in most areas as the country is affected by low air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday Bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general with a chance of rain showers over the coastal heights and the northeastern areas,

The wind will be of moderate speed, while the sea waves will be medium in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in the major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 27/11, Daraa 24/12Homs 26/14, Lattakia 25/19, Aleppo 26/13 and Deir Ezzor 32/15.
