Temperatures above average, misty weather in eastern regions

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain from 2 to 4 degrees above average as the country is affected by the Indian seasonal low pressure accompanied by northwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the weather will be hot and the skies will be clear in general with some scattered clouds while the weather will be misty with dusty condition and very hot in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badia “semi-desert” regions.

The wind will be westerly with a low to moderate speed and active gusts whose speed exceeds 50 km/h, while the sea waves will be low to medium in height.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 37/21, Daraa 36/21, Lattakia 32/26, Aleppo 39/24 and Deir Ezzor 42/29.
