Transport Ministry: Necessary preventative measures taken at border crossings for prevention of Coronavirus

Damascus, SANA- Transport Ministry demanded all its affiliated land, maritime and air departments to take complete measures to sterilize means of transport coming to Syria within the preventative measures for prevention of Coronavirus.

The Ministry reiterated the necessity of sterilizing all modes of transport coming to Syria, including airplane, ship, truck and all kinds of vehicles through all border crossings within the preventative measures to prevent spreading of Coronavirus in cooperation with the Health and Interior Ministries.

Last week, the Ministry halted flights to and from Qatari capital of Doha via Damascus International Airport till further notice, as well as it halted flights to Kuwait for two weeks within the preventative measure related to Coronavirus.
