Riyadh, SANA-Syrian al-Jaish football team tied with Hilal al-Quds from Palestine 0-0 in the match that was held in Jeddah within the 5th round of Asian Cup competition, group A which also includes al-Wahdat from Jordan and Lebanese al-Nijmah.
Al-Jaish raised its points to 9, but it retreated to the second place behind al-Wahdat which beat al-Nijmah 2-0 to lead the group with 10 points.
Meanwhile, Syrian al-Etihad lost to al-Kuwaiti 2-0 in group B.
