Havana, SANA- A delegation from the Syrian General Federation of Trade Unions (GFTU) on Thursday participated in the Solidarity Forum held by Cuba in the framework of its celebrations on the occasion of the International Workers’ Day.

In a speech at the Forum, Head of the delegation Burhan Abdul-Wahhab referred to what Syria is facing of terrorism and criminal acts at the hands of terrorists against the Syrian people and workers, and the destruction and sabotage against the institutions and the infrastructure.

Abdul-Wahhab stressed that the victory against terrorists and their backers is absolute thanks to the steadfastness of the Syrian people and the heroism and sacrifices of the Syrian brave army and the wisdom of the Syrian leadership.

He hailed the historic relations binding the two friendly peoples of Syria and Cuba.
