Distinction and Creativity Commission launches online platform for school debates

Damascus, SANA-The Distinction and Creativity Commission has launched a dedicated electronic platform for school debates, aimed at streamlining all processes related to registration, scheduling “ladder challenges,” submitting objections, and tracking results in a fully digital and transparent manner.

In its announcement received by SANA on Thursday , the commission stated that team registration via the platform link begins today. It also clarified that ladder challenges will commence on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, and will be held entirely online.

The commission emphasized that participation in the ladder challenges is mandatory for all teams wishing to qualify for the National School Debate Championship scheduled for December 2025.

To ensure a shared understanding and full adherence to the rules and procedures, the Authority urged all teams to carefully review the following documents before taking part in the challenges:

– Electronic Platform Guide

 – Ladder Challenges Guide

 – Code of Conduct

– Appeals Mechanism
