Damascus, April 3 (SANA) Syrian and Hungarian officials held talks on Thursday aimed at strengthening cooperation in civil aviation and air transport.
Omar Hosari, head of the Syrian General Authority of Civil Aviation and Air Transport, met with Hungary’s chargé d’affaires, István Gyula Susa, in Damascus. The discussions centered on advancing cooperation between Syria and Hungary in ways that align with shared economic and technical interests.
Both sides highlighted the need to establish direct communication channels and improve institutional coordination to support the development of the aviation sector. They also explored opportunities to exchange technical expertise and to launch joint training and capacity-building initiatives for aviation professionals.
The officials stressed that continued engagement would be key to develop new areas of cooperation and to making better use of existing capabilities to enhance air transport infrastructure and services.
