Bahrain Condemns Knesset's Approval of Two Draft Laws

The Kingdom of Bahrain has strongly condemned the Knesset’s approval of two draft bills that seek to impose Israeli sovereignty over the occupied West Bank and illegal settlements, deeming this a blatant violation of international law and United Nations Security Council resolutions.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs urged the international community to fulfill its legal and moral obligations and calls on Israel to cease its escalation and illegal measures.

It also stressed the importance of fulfilling the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state, with East Jerusalem as its capital, as the essential prerequisite for achieving a just and lasting peace that guarantees regional security and stability.
