Sana’a, SANA-The Republic of Yemen has reaffirmed its full support for the efforts of the Syrian government to restore security and stability, ensure that weapons are solely under the control of the state, and protect civil peace throughout Syria.
In a statement published on its official website, the Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs said: “The Ministry is deeply concerned by the ongoing tensions in southern Syria, and it expresses full support for the efforts made by the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic to achieve security and stability, restrict the possession of weapons to the state, and safeguard societal peace.”
The statement also underscored Yemen’s rejection of any attempts aimed at preventing the Syrian state from asserting control over its entire territory, affirming that such efforts align with the aspirations of the Syrian people for security, stability, and a dignified life.
