Israeli occupation forces infiltrate villages in northern Quneitra

Quneitra, SANA – Israeli occupation forces infiltrated on Saturday into villages in Quneitra countryside, setting up checkpoints and searching civilians.

“The Israeli occupation patrol, accompanied by reconnaissance aircraft, infiltrated into the villages of Ain al-Bayda, Ofania, and al-Hurriya in northern Quneitra, set up check points and carried out individuality checks on passers-by” according to SANA’s reporter.

A separate incursion involved 30 Israeli military vehicles entered the southern village of al-Asha. The force allegedly searched homes and stole money from those homes before withdrawing back into the occupied Golan Heights on Friday.

The Israeli occupation continues violating the Syrian territory, in violation of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement, the rules of international law, and United Nations resolutions related to state sovereignty.

Syria condemned these repeated aggressions, stressed that these activities hinder efforts to achieve stability, constitute a flagrant violation of international law and the 1974 Disengagement Agreement and called on the international community to take a firm stance to stop them.
