Daraa, SANA-The Internal Security Command in Daraa has announced the arrest a group of security personnel after they appeared in a video clip circulated on social media, talking individually and without authorization about issues related to civil peace.
The Internal Security Command confirmed : “what was stated in this recording does not reflect the official position of the institution, and that any statements related to major national issues should only be issued by official authorities”.
It pointed out that “the actions of the concerned elements represent a clear violation of regulations and instructions, and an unacceptable behavior’’.
The statement also explained : “an immediate investigation was opened with those concerned with the incident, and they were temporarily suspended from work until the legal and administrative procedures against them were completed’’.
“this measure comes within the framework of the institution’s keenness to maintain its prestige and its full commitment to the professional controls and legal duties assigned to internal security personnel’’ the statement stressed.
