Hama, SANA-Firefighting teams were able to extinguish a massive fire that broke out in the Hama City Center mall.
‘’Seven cars have been destroyed in addition to 7 shops in the vicinity of the fire, without any injuries or casualties reported pointing out that the severity of the fire caused cases of suffocation among some firefighters while performing their duties in extinguishing the fire. ’’the Director of the Syrian Civil Defense in Hama, Muhammad al-Sheikh Qaddour, said.
Qaddour stated that civil defense teams arrived at the site of the fire immediately and began operations to extinguish it while trying to surround the fire, to prevent it from spreading to neighboring buildings and shops in the area.
He added that the cause of the fire was the burning of a fuel tank near the commercial building due to an electrical spark.
