Beirut, SANA- US Special Envoy for Syria Thomas Barak affirmed Thursday that President Donald Trump’s vision is of “a new tapestry of a Lebanon and a Syria at peace with one another.”
Barak said in a post on the X platform that he had “productive meetings in Beirut with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun, Prime Minister Nawaf Salam and Speaker Nabih Berri to discuss our shared interests.”
“Both of these countries are ready, willing, and able to be an example of ushered commerce as opposed to externally imposed chaos,” he added.
Barak arrived in Lebanon earlier today on an official visit.
