Damascus, June 14 (SANA) Representatives from Syria’s Interior Ministry met with a German delegation on Sunday to discuss ways to enhance security cooperation and coordination on issues of mutual interest, the ministry said.
Colonel Abdul Rahim Jabbara, director of the ministry’s international cooperation department, received Torsten Knafla, a liaison officer with Germany‘s Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA), along with other German officials.
The talks focused on strengthening professional relations and security coordination, according to the ministry.
The meeting was attended by representatives from the Damascus Countryside internal security command, the head of the Arab and International Criminal Police Department (Interpol), and representatives from the Criminal Investigation and Drug Enforcement Administration.
