Daraa, SANA-Daraa Governor Anwar Taha al-Zoubi praised the visit of President Ahmad al-Sharaa to Daraa governorate and his great commitment to communicating directly with its people.
“Daraa governorate appreciates the generous visit made by President Ahmad al-Sharaa to Daraa, the cradle of the Syrian revolution. This visit marked an important milestone in the path of national recovery and a clear message that Daraa has been and will remain at the heart of the nation and a focus of the leadership’s attention.” In a statement Friday, al-Zoubi said.
Al-Zoubi added that this visit expressed the President’s great commitment to communicating directly with the people of the governorate and assessing their situation and needs, which has had a profoundly positive impact on the citizens.
“We express our appreciation for the serious steps and tangible promises announced during the visit to improve economic and living conditions by supporting development projects, enhancing services, and opening new horizons for sustainable local development.” Al-Zoubi continued, .
The governor concluded by saying, “Daraa, which was the first to call for dignity and freedom, renews its commitment to working and cooperating to build the Syria of the future, a just and strong Syria.”
