Damascus, SANA- Minister of Local Administration and Environment, Eng. Mohammad Anjarani, received Thursday a delegation headed by Edem Wosornu, Director of Operations and Advocacy at the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in New York.
The meeting came within the framework of enhancing cooperation between the Syrian government and international organizations to coordinate humanitarian efforts, particularly in supporting local administration and improving environmental services.
Talks during the meeting focused on mechanisms for delivering humanitarian aid and overcoming obstacles to ensure assistance reaches those in need, amid the economic and social challenges facing Syria.
