Tourism Ministry signs MoU with Saudi-Qatari Companies

Damascus, SANA-The Ministry of Tourism signed a memorandum of understanding with a Saudi-Qatari consortium to rehabilitate and develop several tourist facilities and sites in Syria.

The agreement, signed at the Ministry’s headquarters in the presence of Tourism Minister Mazen al-Salhani, seeks to benefit from the experience and capabilities of these companies in the development and investment of these sites in order to improve their financial performance.

The memorandum also includes working to develop and build tourist facilities and sites, contributing to a sustainable economic, cultural, social, and tourism landscape, and creating job opportunities for young Syrians during the construction and operation of these facilities.
