Damascus, SANA-President Ahmad al-Sharaa met on Saturday Minister of Awqaf Mohammed Abu al-Khair Shukri and several ministry officials.
The meeting addressed the importance of boosting moderate religious discourse and consolidating the values of tolerance and national belonging.
The meeting also affirmed the pivotal role of religious institutions in strengthening societal unity and the need for religious discourse to keep pace with contemporary challenges.
The Minister also reviewed the ministry’s plans and efforts to prepare imams and develop curricula for religious discourse.
