New York, SANA- The Arab League’s permanent representative to the UN, Ambassador Majed Abdel Fattah, called on the international community to pressure the Israeli occupation to fully withdraw from Syrian territory and stop its military attacks on Syrian territory.
In a phone call with Cairo News Channel on Thursday evening, Abdel Fattah revealed that the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit is conducting intensive contacts with the administration of US President Donald Trump to work toward halting these Israeli attacks.
“The Arab League is considering submitting a draft resolution to the Security Council if Israel does not comply with international law and halt its ongoing aggression against Syrian sovereignty,” Abdel Fattah said.
