Munich, Feb. 13 (SANA)The Syrian delegation, headed by Foreign Minister Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani, met with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.
During the meeting on Friday, the two sides discussed key domestic and regional developments, reaffirming Syria’s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
The U.S. side expressed support for the Syrian government, the recent integration agreement with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), and Syria’s ongoing efforts to combat ISIS.
The talks also addressed bilateral relations and ways to enhance cooperation across various fields.
