Ankara-SANA-The Turkish National Security Council stressed today its continued support for the efforts of the new administration in Syria to ensure peace and stability and to cleanse the country of terrorist organizations, Anadolu Agency quoted the council as saying in a statement issued after its meeting chaired by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The council indicated that provocations aimed at destabilizing Syria are being monitored, stressing the need to preserve Syria’s territorial integrity and its unified identity with all its religious and ethnic components.
