Damascus, Oct. 5 (SANA) SYRIAN Airlines launched Monday its updated visual identity and new strategic vision during a ceremony held at Damascus International Airport, organized in cooperation with the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Air Transport.
During the event, the national carrier confirmed the official entry into service of the first aircraft featuring the updated visual identity.
Syrian Aviation Holding CEO Anwar Akkad stated during the ceremony that the rebranding accompanies comprehensive digital upgrades, including modernized booking and payment platforms, a mobile application, and automated internal management systems, with a new global-standard reservation system launching early next month.
Akkad highlighted that the airline’s operational fleet currently stands at six aircraft, with plans to double that figure by the end of the year.

He added that SYRIAN Airlines recently expanded its route network to European destinations, including Amsterdam, Vienna, Copenhagen, and Moscow, aiming to reach 25 destinations before the end of the year.
General Authority of Civil Aviation and Air Transport President Omar Hosari emphasized that the initiative follows directives from President Ahmad al-Sharaa to rebuild a modern aviation sector, upgrade airport infrastructure, and restore international connectivity and air routes.

SYRIAN Airlines resumed its commercial operations in July 2025 with an initial post-liberation flight operating from Aleppo International Airport to Dubai.
