Damascus, Oct. 4 (SANA) Damascus Governor Maher Marwan Idlibi met Sunday with Elnur Shah Huseynov, Chargé d’Affaires at the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Damascus, to discuss enhancing joint cooperation between Damascus and Baku.
The meeting focused on building upon outcomes from a Syrian delegation’s visit to Azerbaijan in May, highlighting expertise exchange in municipal administration, urban development, and infrastructure growth, the Governorate of Damascus reported on its Telegram channel.
The discussions follow talks held in Baku last May by Governor Idlibi and Minister of Public Works and Housing Mustafa Abdul Razzaq with Azerbaijani officials, which centered on urban planning, reconstruction strategies, and technical collaboration.
