Damascus, Oct. 4 (SANA) Interior Minister Anas Khattab on Sunday opened a renovated Rehabilitation and Training Department building in Damascus as part of efforts to upgrade training for ministry personnel.
Khattab toured the facility and inspected its departments and operational readiness, the Interior Ministry said on Telegram.
The ministry said the renovated facility is intended to improve personnel training and provide an appropriate environment for developing skills required for security work.
The opening was attended by Interior Minister’s assistants Mohammad Hussam al-Sheikh Fattouh and Brig. Gen. Bassem Mansour, as well as Rehabilitation and Training Department Director Hussein Salman.
The inauguration follows the reopening last week of the Criminal Investigation Branch in Homs’ al-Waer neighborhood after rehabilitation and refurbishment. The ministry said the work was aimed at improving criminal investigation operations and speeding up responses to reports and complaints from citizens.
