Belgrade, Jan. 23 (SANA) A joint delegation from the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Economy and Industry visited the Elixir Group plants in Serbia, aiming to strengthen cooperation in chemical industries and advance technologies related to phosphates and fertilisers.
The visit, led by Siraj al-Hariri, Director General of the General Establishment for Geology and Mineral Resources, was part of efforts to support international partnerships and review the latest technologies used in fertiliser and chemical processing industries, particularly phosphoric acid production lines considered among the most advanced in Europe.
The delegation also explored prospects for technical and institutional cooperation and knowledge transfer.
This visit is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the national chemical sector and develop local industries related to phosphates and fertilisers, contributing to increasing the added value of national resources and adopting best global industrial practices.
