Damascus countryside, Sept. 19 (SANA) One person was killed and another injured on Friday after war remnants exploded at the Nursing School in the city of Daraya in Damascus countryside.
Director of the Operations’ Center at the Emergency and Disaster Management Department in Damascus countryside Khaled al-Najm told SANA that Syrian Civil Defense teams in the governorate transported the body to a hospital to complete the necessary procedures and hand it over to the victim’s family, while residents provided first aid to the injured person.
Al-Najm said the Nursing School in Daraya has been completely destroyed and is out of service, adding that warning signs have been placed around the area to prevent people from approaching it.
On September 15, one person was killed and another injured after an explosive device left over from the war detonated inside an abandoned military battalion on the Hajoula road linking al-Nasiriyah and al-Nabk in Damascus countryside.
