Damascus, Sep. 5 (SANA) Jeddah will host the first edition of the Syrian Industries “SYRIX” Expo 2026 at the Jeddah Exhibition and Events Center from September 8 to 11, with broad participation from Syrian companies and manufacturers and the attendance of Saudi businesspeople, importers, distributors and market decision-makers.
The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported Saturday that the expo, will serve as a specialized economic platform to showcase Syrian products and industries and open channels for trade and investment cooperation between Syrian companies and the Saudi market.
The event will focus on business meetings and building commercial partnerships rather than direct sales to consumers, SPA reported.
The agency added that the expo will facilitate direct communication among business owners, the establishment of partnerships with the Saudi business community, and discussions on supply, distribution and investment opportunities. It will also cover a range of Syrian industrial sectors, allowing visitors to explore the country’s diverse production capabilities.
Participation will include sectors linked to industry, agriculture, tourism, culture, social affairs and labor, alongside companies and manufacturers. The expo will highlight investment opportunities, projects and services related to the participating sectors and provide a platform to explore cooperation and investment opportunities beyond product purchases.
The program will include panel discussions featuring participating government entities to present investment incentives, facilities and procedures, as well as a seminar titled “Bilad al-Sham: Cradle of Civilizations,” introducing Syria’s cultural heritage.
