Damascus, Aug. 19 (SANA) Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani and Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman al-Safadi discussed bilateral coordination and regional developments in a phone call, Syria’s foreign ministry said.
The ministry said the two ministers discussed the latest developments concerning the Higher Coordination Council between Syria and Jordan and recent regional developments.
Safadi condemned Israeli violations in the Palestinian territories and affirmed Jordan’s solidarity with and support for Syria, the ministry said.
The two ministers stressed the importance of continuing efforts to strengthen security and stability in the region.
