Quneitra, Aug. 4 (SANA) A force of the Israeli occupation, comprising six military vehicles and a “Hilux” vehicle, carried out an incursion Tuesday at the junction of the quarries of the town of Jubata al-Khashab in the northern countryside of Quneitra.
SANA’s correspondent reported that the force set up a temporary checkpoint, stopped and searched passersby, then withdrew from the area.
Earlier in the day, another Israeli occupation force entered Maariya village in western Daraa countryside, searched several civilian homes, and withdrew without any reported arrests.
The Israeli occupation continues to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through repeated incursions into southern Syria. Damascus has repeatedly called for the withdrawal of the occupation from its territory, affirming that its actions are null and void under international law and calling on the international community to assume its responsibilities.
