Paris, May 19 (SANA) Syria’s delegation to the 93rd General Assembly of the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH), headed by Deputy Minister of Agriculture Ayham Abdul Qader, continued its meetings Tuesday with delegations and officials from member states and international organizations on the sidelines of the Paris conference.
The delegation participated in plenary sessions covering animal disease control and international cooperation in veterinary and agricultural fields.
It also held a separate meeting with WOAH Director General Emmanuelle Soubeyran, during which both sides discussed the current state of Syria’s livestock sector and ways to strengthen technical and veterinary cooperation.
