During the meeting on Sunday, Information Minister stressed that the Ministry of Information is working to consolidate the principle of being the “primary source of news” through immediate and timely coverage of events, with the aim of minimizing rumors and misleading information and preventing inaccurate interpretations.

Minister Zaarour indicated that efforts are currently underway to evaluate the state of the Syrian media sector as a preliminary step toward formulating a comprehensive strategy that takes into account existing challenges and gaps.
