Aden, May 22 (SANA)    Yemen expressed Friday its strong condemnation of the car bombing that took place near a Syrian Ministry of Defense building in Bab Sharqi district of Damascus, which killed one soldier and wounded 23 others, most of them civilians.

Yemen’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that Yemen reaffirms its full solidarity with Syria and stands by its government and people in confronting all terrorist and criminal acts targeting the country’s security, stability, territorial integrity, and citizens.

Yemen also reaffirmed its unwavering support for Syria’s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, and its rejection of all forms of violence, extremism, and terrorism in violation of human values and international law.

Syria’s Ministry of Defense announced last Tuesday that the car bomb exploded near one of its buildings in Bab Sharqi, killed one soldier and wounded 23 people, the majority of them civilians.
