Damascus, May 5 (SANA) Syria’s Interior Ministry announced Tuesday that it foiled a large-scale terrorist plot and dismantled a cell that was planning to destabilize the country.
The operation was carried out across several provinces as part of a coordinated security campaign, a source at the ministry told SANA.
It added that all members of the cell were arrested and weapons in their possession were seized.
The operation is part of ongoing efforts by the Interior Ministry and relevant authorities to counter security threats, dismantle sleeper cells and prevent actions that could undermine public safety and stability.
